Paula worked in primary education for more than 25 years and am currently a Deputy Headteacher in Leicester. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about supporting children and families, particularly those who may be facing additional challenges or disadvantage.

Lifting Children’s Hopes is particularly special to me as my mum benefited from the charity herself when she was a child. Knowing the difference that this support made to her has given me a very personal connection to the charity and was an important reason why I wanted to become involved and support its work.

As a Trustee, I am proud to use my experience in education, safeguarding and supporting children and families to help LCH continue to provide opportunities and experiences for children across Leicester.
